The legal base for processing this personal data is in accordance with Welsh Governments public task.

Data processed for the purpose of the event  will be from 01st July 2024 to 31st January 2025

 

Location of Processing

The data will be processed and stored within the UK.

 

Nature of the Processing

To match Welsh SME business owners with Welsh business exhibitors  with other exhibitors at the event.

 

This data will be collected by Production 78 (sub contractor / data processor)  on behalf of the Welsh Government (data controller)

To match Welsh SME business owners with Welsh business exhibitors and other exhibitors at the event.

Type of Personal Data to be Processed

The type of personal data to be processed and recorded, includes name, phone number, email address, mobile number, home address and Billing Address.

We will also collect, use and share Aggregated Data such as statistical or demographic data for any purpose. Aggregated data may be derived from your personal data, but is not considered personal data in law as this data does not directly or indirectly reveal your identity. For example, we may aggregate your usage data to calculate the percentage of users accessing a specific website feature. However, if we combine or connect aggregated data with your personal data so that it can directly or indirectly identify you, we treat the combined data as personal data which will be used in accordance with this privacy notice.

 

We do not collect any Special Categories of Personal Data about you (this includes details about your race or ethnicity, religious or philosophical beliefs, sex life, sexual orientation, political opinions, trade union membership, information about your health and genetic and biometric data). Nor do we collect any information about criminal convictions and offences

Plan for the return and/or destruction of the data once the processing is complete UNLESS requirement under union or member state law to preserve that type of data

​All exhibitor and attendee data from this event webpage will be deleted and transferred to Business Wales no later than 6 months after the event concludes. Your data will then be shared with Business Wales / Welsh Government  who will keep the data in accordance with their privacy policy.

 

Welsh Government will keep your personal data for a minimum of 10 years after the project ends for auditing purposes, after which time it will be securely destroyed. 

 

Wesh Government will obtain written  confirmation from contractor that the data has been deleted.

Welsh Government is the data controller and Production 78 the data processor.
