Swansea Council is the governing body responsible for the administration and provision of public services in Swansea, which has a population of just over 241,000.
With a workforce of more than 6,000 staff, the council oversees a wide range of services including education, social care, housing, waste collection, culture, recycling, planning and city regeneration.
The council works to create a cleaner, greener city for residents, businesses and visitors to the city.
Through collaboration with local communities and businesses, the council also strives to promote a vibrant, inclusive and more prosperous city where everyone can thrive both now and in future.
